Step 1: Opening the Garmin StreetPilot c320

Begin by using the plastic shim too to remove the silver colored front faceplate.. Then remove the revealed four screws using the Phillips screwdriver provided in your kit from NewPower99.com . Open the case and unplug the existing battery’s connector. Be sure to observe and make note of the positioning of the wires.

Step 2: Removing the Original Garmin StreetPilot c320 Battery

Remove the two screws securing the original battery. Use a soldering iron to carefully detach the 4 wires connecting the original battery to the Garmin. Observe the positioning and orientation of the battery. Remove the battery.

Step 3: Install the Replacement Battery in the Garmin StreetPilot c320

Insert the extended life battery from Newpower99.com in the same position and orientation as the removed battery was found. Replace the 2 screws to secure the battery to the Garmin. Solder the leads to the Garmin in the same positions as the original.

Step 4: Closing the Garmin StreetPilot c320

Replace the plug into the connector on the unit and gently close the case. Replace the 4 screws on the front of the unit and snap on the front cover plate.

Step 5: Finish the Garmin StreetPilot c320 Battery Replacement

Charge the unit for at least two hours. Turn unit on. It should work perfectly.
