How To Reset Your iPod Shuffle

If your iPod Shuffle goes a little crooked on you, maybe you need to reset it. Follow these simple steps to reset your iPod Shuffle back on the straight and narrow.

Step 1: You Will Need

iPod Shuffle, a USB connector dock and a computer with the latest version of iTunes

Step 2: Warning Signs

Place the Shuffle into the USB connector dock and plug the USB connector dock into an empty USB port on your computer.

Step 3: Restore Your Shuffle

Click on the Shuffle in the source list on the left side of the iTunes window. Then, click on Settings at the top of the main menu and scroll down to choose Restore under Version. You will lose your songs but your Shuffle will be back to normal.
