Pair of soft-soled shoes

Step 1: Basic Footwork

Start with the left foot. Move your left foot to the side. Replace the weight to the right foot. Close feet together and change weight. Right foot to the side. Replace weight to the left foot. Close and change weight. Most upper body movement should be in your arms.

Step 2: Natural Opposites

The leader (usually male) will start off with his left foot. The follower (usually female) will do the natural opposite, so she will start with her right foot.
