Well, I used to huff gas, but it's too expensive now!
These are all good tips but changing your air filter only increaces HP not fuel economy unless you are driving an older carborated vehicle. Your cars computer changes the amount of fuel injected into the engine using many inputs from your car. Decreced air flow will result in decreced fuel making you lose power not MPG.
The idea to carry less weight is a good one, except when the temperatures go down during the Winter. Condensation forms and then you increase the chances of water in the tank if it is less than half full.
It's always nice to save some gas and some money but the truth is that few are using too much so all of the others have to save. I don't like saving so that the others may spend even more. The key is to make more money for yourself and to afford more. And what is the best way to make money nowdays? Internet is certainly number 1. Come and see www.marioscenter.com
I've always only filled up half way or less, and people always scolded me saying it was better to fill up :P
