We all know an egg consists of the yellow yolk, and the slippery egg white, but how do you separate the two? It's easier than you might think, as VideoJug's explains…

Crack an egg in two over a bowl. Take care to keep the yellow yolk in one half of the egg shell. Tip the yolk into the other half of the shell, and back again, several times allowing the egg white to fall into the bowl below. When you are satisfied that only the yolk remains in the shell, pop it into a separate bowl.
