Cycling endurance training basically means getting the miles you might want to try it over a hillier course, over a shorter period of time. So, for example, you might set yourself a course of approximately fifty miles and you'll practice going over this course and see how fast you can actually cover this course, in the time available. Cycling endurance - I'm relaxing my bike, but there's a purpose, I'm pushing down on the pedals at constant speed without going too fast or too slow but the effort is in going in and getting used to riding this kind of endurance mile after mile after mile.

First of all, you'll get the miles in, in maybe three or four hour rides, and then you might pan a course, which is approximately forty to fifty miles to see how fast you can travel over that course. I'm trying to maintain a good average speed, and that's what cycling endurance is about, trying to cover ground quickly and efficiently without going too hard or going too slow. But again, it's sitting in the saddle, getting the miles in, getting used to the miles, getting used to the position in the bike, and being able to travel a distance in a shorter and shorter and shorter time up to a point of course.

And I'm always going to keep up a reasonable average miles per hour. I can do this by looking at my computer, or knowing some fixed points on the course if I've used it before. And that simply sums up cycling endurance training. .
