How To Set The Time And Date On Your iPod

Step 1:

Main Menu

If you aren't already at the Main Menu, keep pressing the Menu button until you are.
Slide your finger clockwise on the click wheel to highlight Settings. Click the center of the click wheel to make your selection.

Date And Time Menu

Slide your finger clockwise on the click wheel to highlight Date & Time. Click on the center of the click wheel to make your selection.
Slide your finger clockwise on the click wheel to highlight Set Date & Time. Click on the center of the click wheel to make your selection.

Setting The Time And Date

Use the click wheel to select the hour. Slide your finger clockwise to go up and counter clockwise to go down. Click on the center of the click wheel to make your selection.
Now, set the minutes by sliding your finger clockwise to go up and counter clockwise to go down. Click on the center of the click wheel to make your selection.
Slide your finger clockwise or counterclockwise on the scroll wheel to choose AM or PM and click the center of the click wheel to make your selection.
Repeat this process to set the date.

Turn On The Time Display

Once you've set the time and date and clicked back to the previous screen, slide your finger on the click wheel to highlight Time In Title. Click the center of the click wheel to make your selection and turn on this feature.
Now, you'll see the time at the top of your iPod screen whenever you play your music.
