How To Set Up An Indoor Garden, Part Three

Patti shows your more helpful ways to keep your garden going, even in the winter.
-
Step 1:
-
Use Excess Materials.
-
In order for me to finish up my indoor garden I'm going to put a row of shelves along this window. I have a leftover piece of plywood here that I'm going to shellac and just water seal and I have a bunch of shelves ready to go to place on top of my plywood. I'm going to raise the shelves so that more sunlight can get to more of the shelves.

Step 2:
-
Securing Shelving.
-
Okay, I've got my shelves pretty much in place. Now, as you can see, this isn't the most stable thing in the world. So what I want to do is, I'm going to attach each shelving unit to itself, to each other. So I want to fasten these shelves to my plywood and I am using a little L bracket right here. All right I'm done setting up my shelves and I'm so excited because now I can go crazy and plant seeds.

Step 3:
-
Planting Seeds.
-
Okay, so about a week ago I ordered a bunch of seeds online. I just received them and I'm going to look through them and see what I got. I got a lot of herbs and medicinal herbs. I have some parsley, some Rominesco Itali broccoli, Fever Few, which is an herb, a tooth ache plant, which is another herb., Tabasco, hot pepper. I have just so many more seeds and I'll take you through starting each one of these seeds and transplanting them and harvesting them and then cooking them and enjoying them.
