In this video the steps needed to play two or more multiplayer game-play on the Nintendo Wii are demonstrated using Wii Sports.
Hey I'm Ross and I'm the Nintendo specialist here at Game Head Office, and today I just want to show you multiplayer gaming on the Wii console. So what I've got is both handsets synced to the Wii for one player and two player with the lights accordingly showing you which is which. Now what I'm going to do is put Wii Sports into the console, which comes with it, and demonstrate how easy it is to play multiplayer.
Okay, so select the disc channel and select start on Wii Sports and this will load up the game. Make sure you place the wrist strap around your wrists, both you and your friend. And what you'll see is both Wii remotes are on the screen for both of you.
So both of you press A and B and what we'll do is we'll go onto tennis just to show you how easy it is. So if you select two players and I will select that Mii character for player one and I'm all right handed, and player two will then select their Mii. So there you go.
What you do then, is select who you want to start the game and then both players press A and B on their controllers. So that's player one and player two. And you'll then select which sides you are.
So as you can see player one is situated on the left hand side of the court and will control these two characters, player two will control the right hand side of the court. Again if there were four of you playing, you would each control a separate character. Let's go straight to the game.
And this should be quite interesting. So player one is on the left hand side of the screen, player two on the right. So I'll serve with that one and miss it that one.
And that's how you play two player or more multiplayer action on the Wii console.
