How To Setup Your Nintendo Wii
This film will show you the proper way to setup a Nintendo Wii in your home. Once you've learnt where all the cables go, there will be endless fun to be had with the Nintendo Wii.
Step 1: You Will Need
A Nintendo Wii.
A television set with RCA-style A/V inputs.
(how many) AA-sized batteries for the controllers.
And a Wii game disc of your choice. We recommend bowling. It's pretty sweet.
Step 2: Placement
Before you setup the Wii console, decide whether you will use it upright on its side, or flat on its feet.
Step 3: Plug It In
Insert the power adapter into the back of the console, and put the plug into an electrical outlet.
Step 4: Connect And Mount Sensor
The Sensor Bar is the sensor for the wireless controllers that come with the system. Plug in the cord from the Sensor Bar in the back of your system.
Mount the Sensor Bar on top of your TV with the adhesive pads attached. Make sure that the Sensor bar is in plain view of where you will be standing while playing the Wii.
Step 5: Connect The Wii To The TV
Find the A/V cable and plug the solid end into the back of the Wii. Plug the split end into the TV. Put the Yellow plug into the “Video Input,” the White plug into the “Left Input” and the Red plug into the “Right Input.”
Step 6: Install The Batteries
Remove the battery cover on the back of the remote and insert two AA-sized batteries. Put the cover back on the controller.
Step 7: Play Your Wii
Insert a game disc into the front slot of the Console. Press the start button on the control and follow the on-screen instructions to begin playing the game of your choice. Play away!
