So now, we are going to learn how to do The Michael Jackson Side Walk. I am sure you are all are kind of perfectly aware about his particular dance style but he is very, very particular. This move isn't what I would call an easy move.

It is a little more advanced, really, so I am going to really break it down as easy as I can for you. If we start with the right leg and bend that right knee and then as we bend it, we bring in the left leg and then we pivot round and we push and come back to neutral, bend again, push, and come back to neutral. And with it, we slide the hand across so we bend that right knee, bring the left knee in and the left foot and slide it out and bring the other hand across, bring it in, slide across, bring it in, slide across.

Okay, now the important thing with this is giving it sort of consistent sort of flow all the way through. You do not want to be breaking it up. It just wants to flow all the way through.

So if I give you an example, we flow it through. So, bring it in. One thing you will notice with Michael Jackson when he does this move, if you look at any of his videos or any of his concert footage, he tends to sort of give it a lot of style and dynamic by sort of bringing in his head.

So when he is starting with the move, he will tend to flick his head and then go into the move. Okay, so if you want to break it out on the dance floor and you are doing your move, you can stop, flick your head and break it, in you go, and slide it across, slide, slide, slide. And that is the Sidewalk from Michael Jackson. .
