Pole dancing is a fabulous way to spice up your workout regime. Emily Ford, a pole dance instructor at the Factory fitness centre in London, shows you how to sit on a pole dancing pole.
Top Tips
- Think about how your legs are positioned when you sit cross-legged on a chair. Recreate this position in your seated pole move.
- Squeeze your legs so there are no gaps between them and your skin can grip the pole more easily.
- If you're having trouble with your balance, grip your lower foot around the back of the pole.
