How To Skydive (For The First Time)
Skydiving is a CRAZY thing to do. At least that's what my mom told me. Check out this video and if it doesn't make you want to jump out of a plane then try watching a different one. Either way it's amazing. The feeling of letting go of everything and then just floating in the air can not be replicated by any amusement park ride anywhere.
-
Step 1:
-
Express Your Concerns
-
Let your feelings be known. Let your skydive instructor know if you have any major concerns (besides jumping out of a plane). Get it off your chest now so that when you're in the air, all you think about is the jump.
-
Step 2:
-
Get Pumped Up
-
GET EXCITED!!! The free-fall only last so long and you should enjoy every second that you can!
-
Step 3:
-
Have A Good Altitude Attitude
-
When you're on the plane, your heart may be racing but don't let it phase you. Brush it off and know that soon you will be falling through the air and loving every second of it.
-
Step 4:
-
Let Go Of The Plane
-
Just let go. It's going to be OK.
-
Step 5:
-
Believe
-
Trust your instructor and believe that at the end of this journey, your life will have changed in ways that you've never thought of.
-
Step 6:
-
Pull And Float
-
Pull your cord when you hit 5,000 feet and enjoy your parachute ride the rest of the way down.
-
Step 7:
-
Let It Sink In
-
You've landed on the ground, safe and sound, look up at the sky and think about what you just accomplished. It feels good.
