In this video, I am going to talk about how to speed up metabolism. Metabolism is basically how quickly your body converts food into energy. It's pretty much genetically.

However, the way you live your life, the way you eat, the way you train, effect what the metabolic rate is. Now, there are a lot of products sold claiming to increase the metabolism rate. Some work a little bit and some work not at all.

The most natural way and the best proven to speed up metabolism rate is to do the training correctly and to eat food in the right way. Let's talk about that. When it comes to exercise, the trickiest thing is the bigger muscles.

If you have bigger muscles, your body has to work harder to keep the muscles and to build up the new muscle tissues. If you are having bigger muscles, you have to do strength training that means big hard exercises, the squats, the dead lifts, the pull ups, the things which hurt as opposed to easy aerobic type exercises. You pick a weight which is heavy, that means you can do it may be 5 to 6 times, but you can't do it more than 15 times.

That will be the way forward. So, that's exercise. Next, nutrition - the best thing you can do in nutrition is to have healthy diet, little meals.

The recommended duration nowadays is about 6 small meals a day. It should have high protein; high protein is the definite way forward to increase the metabolism and also have low glycemic index carb that means food which breaks down into sugar slowly, like brown rice, brown pasta, and milk, etc. Let's recap.

You have got to eat well and you have got to train well. Keep doing the strength training. This will naturally increase the metabolism and also make your body look much firmer, tighter and fitter. .
