Pull the curtains out so the fabric is stretched as wide as possible. Turn the vacuum on and place the wide attachment at the top edge of the curtain. Slowly and carefully move it down towards the floor. Then repeat a little further along. Keep going until you have vacuumed the entire curtain range. This removes and dust and freshens the fabric.

You are in bad need of advice as rhat you have recommended is little more than daily dusting so, try not to give up your day job till you learn how curtains should be cleaned and judging by what you know at present, you have a lot to learn. Any normal person hoovers the curtains daily ad you recommend this for special visitors who will be shocked if you tell them you have made a special effort to impress them. catch yourself on and think again before you write more time wasting rubbish like this.

I would recommend taking a thin peice of cloth, like muslin, and stretching it across the base of the vacumn cleaner and secure it using elastic bands. This is for two reasons. Firstly, if like me, you have dogs who track mud etc over your floor the base of your vacumn cleaner is not going to be spotless, and, particularly with light curtains like the ones shown in the clip, you are possibly going to be leaving streaks, instead of removing them. Just wash the muslin when you are done and reuse it next time. Secondly, a lot of vacumns, mine included, have a much harder suck that hers seems to, and this reduces the suck, stopping the fabric being pulled into the nozzle, and preventing any accidental tearing. Also, if like me you have dogs with long hair that seem to shed constantly and adheres to curtains as they brush past it, you can get hoover attachments that have a velcro like pad which scoops up the hair very efficently.
