Ingredients

  • asparagus
  • water

Method

To steam asparagus, you can use a steamer machine or create your own steamer. Put a colander in a pot of water and place a pot lid on top. Make sure the water doesn't touch the colander.

Wash the asparagus and break the ends off with your hands, rather than cutting them. Place the asparagus inside the steamer and steam for around 4 minutes, so that the asparagus keeps some bite.
