How To Stop Breaking Hair
Overusing your straightening irons can cause your hair to break and appear dry and frizzy. Bryn from the Easton Regal salon in London gives you some tips on how to prevent hair breakage in your daily routine.
Top Tips
- When using your straightening irons, if you can feel the hair tug or pull, you are clamping too hard and the hair is breaking.
- When tying your hair up, use clips, grips and bands that are coated. Be gentle when tying up wet hair.
- For severe cases, apply conditioning treatments or hot oil treatments to your hair. Wrap your hair in a hot towel for 10 minutes to intensify the treatment.
