I am going to tell you now about how you can strengthen your immune system. It's appalling to realize that there are lots of stuff in the market. Some of it are quite good.
Some of it are okay and some of them, I am afraid are plain rubbish. However, there are simple things you can do to make sure your immune system is in check. The first thing you can do is that you are a smoker, I am afraid you have to cut down on the fags.
Make sure you have a balance diet, a part of that is watching your weight. Make sure your blood pressure is under control and make sure that you are at risk of seasonal flu; you get the jabs from GP. I am going to talk to you about some vitamins and minerals that you may have heard off.
Now, you see things in the shop that will tell you how to boost your immune system. You will see vitamin supplement and mineral supplements. We know on the whole, each probably do contribute to strengthening the immune system.
Vitamins A, B, C, D and E and we also know that the minerals zinc and selenium also contribute towards improving your immune system. Particularly important is vitamin D. Most of us particularly in winter have low levels of Vitamins D.
Vitamin D, we get from sunlight. Hence, we have got low levels of Vitamin D in winter. And get vitamin D supplements or better still, just go out and get some sunshine.
So, in summary, there are lots of stuff in the shop. Make sure you don't buy any of those rubbish. Lots of things are very common sense in the immune system that involves diet, exercise and generally looking after yourself.
Make sure you get your jabs from your GP, particularly if you are prone to flu and you are eligible for flu jab and don't forget Vitamin D. This is a very, very hot topic at the moment and you find most GPs will be testing your Vitamin D level if you get recurrent coughs and cold. And that's how you can strengthen your immune system. .
