Step 1: Cover Furniture And Carpets

Cover furniture and carpets, and keep windows and doors fully open to insure good ventilation during the application and drying processes.

Step 2: Apply Paint Stripper

Use a brush or flat bladed tool to apply a generous one millimeter thick layer of Polycell Less Mess Paint Stripper to the wood.

Step 3: Leave To Dry

Leave it to dry for around six hours.

Step 4: Remove Crust

It will begin to form a crust which, when fully dry, can easily be removed with a stiff brush or stripping knife. Paint residues fall away easily with the crust leaving the surface paint free.

Step 5: Clean Surface

The surface can then be cleaned with water or white spirit, and the waste can be vacuumed or swept up ready for safe disposal.
