I'm going to be showing you how to get Victoria's Secret style hair. All you are going to need to achieve this look is some mousse - here is some, I just popped it in the lid to make it easier to get at - a curling wand - I'm using a Babyliss one but you can use a GHD or a straightener or any kind of curling tongs that you have - and I have a special backcombing brush that is easier to tease hair with, but you can use a comb or a normal hairbrush. We are going to start by popping just a little bit of mousse through the lengths of the hair just to give it a bit of grip, and then just brush it through the length of the hair just to ensure they're all covered.

I'm going to section off the hair, just leaving the bottom half of the hair down, which just makes it easier to manage and keeps some hair out of the way. Around halfway through the crown, take the remaining hair and curl it. You can use a bobbin or a clip, so you are just left with the bottom sections here.

Here is where your backcombing comes in. Depending on what kind of hair you have, if you have thicker hair, you might not need to backcomb so much, but if you have thinner hair, to get that real wow, bouncy curl, you are going to need to backcomb it a bit just to add a bit of volume. For curling, you are going to take a section of the hair about an inch-or-so wide and curl the hair.

Hold the curler up straight and curl the hair around the wand. The thicker the wand, the bigger the curl, so wrap it all the way up here, all the way to the crown, and then release so you get this quite tight curl like that. Just leave it there to cool and we'll deal with that in a couple of seconds.

I'm just going to work through the entire section that is down, just curling about an inch or inch-and-a-half wide sections, holding them around the barrel and them letting them fall just like that. Keep repeating that in alternate directions until the entire hair that's been left down has been curled. With the top layers of your hair, exactly like the bottom layers, continue curling around one inch sections in alternate directions.

I just backcombed the hair at the roots and kind of throughout the length of the hair as well, and I've curled the bottom of the hair, just to give it that real Victoria's Secret feel. It's always a good idea if you have thinner hair to backcomb it just a little bit extra along the crown and through the roots as well, just to give it that real bouncy look. That is how to style your hair like a Victoria's Secret model.
