Hi, I'm Ross, I'm the Nintendo Specialist here at Game, and today I want to show you how to play Swordplay on Wii Sports Resort for Wii. Okay, so first off I've attached my Wii Motion Plus which comes with Wii Sports Resort onto the bottom of the controller and calibrated it by placing it on the floor like that. Once Wii Sports is loaded up, select Swordplay in the top left hand corner.

And the first option is duel. You can play this on your own or with a friend. If anyone remembers Gladiators, you'll remember this kind of game, and hopefully, I'll win.

Okay, so I've selected my main character, and I've selected one player, so I'll be playing against the computer. There I am. I'm up against Ryan.

He's a level thirteen. I'll take him down. Here we go.

So point the Wii remote at the screen, pressing the A button to start the bout. You then hold the remote in both hands as if you're holding a sword, or in this case it looks like a light saber. And you can wield it up and down as well as left and right.

The wider you swing, the more powerful your blow will be. There you go. If you want to defend, press the B button on the back of the controller, and that should stop him from actually hitting you.

And again, angle the sword with the Wii remote. Okay, so I'm going to quit the practice and get straight to the bout, and it might get a little bit manic. Here we go.

So there you have it--that's how you play Swordplay on Wii Sports Resort.
