Hello Nicholas. Tesco asked me to write a poem that would last for exactly two minutes. So I wrote a poem that lasts for two minutes so that you can have it read to you as you brush your teeth. Because as you know Nicholas you should brush your teeth for two minutes.

But how else can we keep our family's teeth clean? I've been speaking to Dr. Nigel Carter. How should we keep our teeth healthy?
Well we need to be cleaning them twice a day with a fluoride toothpaste for two minutes at a time. And that's quite a long time. So that's the thing we really need to concentrate on that we're cleaning all round the mouth and every part of the teeth.

What things do I need to keep my teeth healthy?
The first thing that we need is a fluoride toothpaste and the fluoride's the very important thing there because that's what's going to protect us against decay.
And then obviously we're going to be putting the toothpaste onto a toothbrush. These can either be manual. We want a short head so that we can round every tooth and medium soft filaments or we can use an electric one which can be a bit more fun to use.
Battery driven, little round head that's going to go round and round and help us get round every tooth. Now all these products, readily available on the High Street from your pharmacy or local supermarket, and needn't cost you a fortune.
We can look at the own brand products. Tesco own brand product is accredited by the British Dental Health Foundation and all these products can do a jolly good job.
