How To Tan

This video will show you how to choose the best self-tanning methods in order to give you the tan you're looking for without causing harm to your body.

Hi, my name is Abigail Oleck and I'm the founder of Beaubronz and spray tanner to the stars and now I'm going to share with you my top tanning tips. Okay, so when you're looking to get a tan, the first thing that you must remember is that if you're going out into the natural sun, please please please wear some protector and make sure that it's from a really reputable brand and that it's also over 30 sun PF for your body and a good 50 on your face. In fact ladies, all your moisturizers that you wear in the day should contain a sun protector factor.

I mean there are lots of good ones on the market so make sure that you do use one of those because you don't want to get any of the bad rays from the sun. To get your tan, you want to use a fake tan and you want to find the right fake tan for you. Now there's a lot of colors available on the market ranging from tans for fair skins, tans for dark skins, spray tans, so I suggest you wear your sun protectors and that you go and find a good sun-less tanning shop, that's your spray tanning shop or you apply your fake tan at home and that will be the safe way to get a tan.

Okay, obviously the things to avoid is do not go out into the sun without your sun hats or your sunglasses. Make sure you've always got a light shawl that you can wear over your shoulders when you're in the sun and please do not go out into the sun between mid-day and 3 o'clock when the sun is strongest and never ever ever use baby oil. It absolutely horrifies me that I still hear that young ladies are putting themselves in danger by covering themselves with baby oil and baking all day in the sun.

So to recap, you must use your sun protector, stay out of the sun between 12 and 3, find a good fake tan that suits your skin. If your fair skinned, go for low percentage DHA, that's your fake tanning agent, and if you're dark skinned, have a rich and more golden color and always wear your sun protection. .
