How To Throw A Pokeball Like Ash

I've been playing Pokemon for over 10 years, and yes, I have caught them all. Okay, in this video I'm going to teach you how to throw a Pokeball like Ash Ketchum from the Pokemon cartoon. So, the first thing you're going to need is something to throw.

Well, these are from Gatcha Capsules, which are ideal, but if you throw them they'll shatter quite easily. So, try a tennis ball. Now the first thing of course that you need to do is take the Pokeball out.

Pokeballs are usually held behind the person. So all you do, is you take it out, and pull it up, so now you're holding the Pokeball properly. Now, the goal with throwing a Pokeball is just to get it up 3 or 4 feet in front of you, so you could just do a light, little throw, but what Ash had done in quite a few of his gym battles is a bit more of a fancy throw, and I'm going to try and show you that now.

So if you watch the legs, the first thing he does is he starts to spin 'round. Now, he spins anti-clockwise, which can give you some balance issues if you don't use this leg, however when he finishes he has his leg up, so the way I've found it, is to start spinning first, then lift the leg up just as you're getting back 'round to the front. So as you're coming back 'round, you're going to want to throw.

It's very simple, as you're turning 'round, just extend your arm and release the ball. This is how the whole thing should look. And that's how you throw a Pokeball like Ash Ketchum, but you can invent your own, so try it yourself.
