How To Throw A Screw Shot

We've teamed up with England qualified boxing coach, Michael Gregory to show you how to float like a butterfly and sting like a bee. In this film Michael shows you how to throw the perfect Screw Shot.

The screw shot is perfect if your opponent has a particularly tight guard which is making it difficult to get round the sides. The screw shot allows you to get through the middle of the guard and underneath the chin.

Make sure that your palm is facing up, rotate the waist whilst giving a strong upward thrust with the fist, whilst always staying on your toes. You can then try moving your feet around. It is quite a different angle to come from, but you can use your lead or rear hand, and by combining this with some faints can really outfox the opponent.
