How To Tie Dye Stripes

Hi, I'm Turguy Mustafa. I do garment dyeing for the last 26 years for Prestige Fashion Dyers and today I will be giving you some tips about tie dye and garment dyeing. Again, this is how we do a stripe tie dye.

What you will actually do is hold the garment. This is if you want it horizontal or vertical so you can choose that yourself. What you will actually do is just pull the garment together, put an elastic band like that.

Then, what you will do is again put another elastic band here and it all depends how many stripes you want. You can actually put 3, 4 or 5 stripes and that way, when you actually dye it, this will give you a stripe effect. If you want a second colour on the stripe as well, what you will do is exactly like the other procedures.

You will take some more elastic bands and tie where you've dyed that colour before so that you can hide that colour as well so you can put, obviously, the required effect with as much elastic bands if you want. And that way, when you dye it, you will be hiding the colour, what you dyed before and it will give you a second colour on there as well. .
