Hi I'm Joe from Soho Gyms, and today I'll be showing you how to make great muscles. Today I'll be showing you how to tone your abs, there are many way how you can tone your abs but today I'm going to give you a couple of variations. First of all we will start with a normal crunch, you going to have your feet flat on the floor, legs bent, hands by the sides of head.

From here we then are going to roll up, bring your shoulders off the floor and keep your lower back down and squeeze at the top. You need to make sure that when you are squeezing all the way up to the top that you are not using any momentum that engage in squeezing your abs when you get there. A variation of his is by raising the legs up to 90 degrees, feet flat off the floor, again keeping your lower back engaged on to the floor, hands by the side of your head squeezing up nice and slow.

It's also important to remember the breathing, as you squeeze up your going to breathe out as you lower yourself down you are going to breathe in. The third and final variation of this crunch is by sending your legs out straight, it's going to be slightly harder, again same techniques, keep your lower back on to the floor, hands by the sides of your head, again take it nice and slow, squeezing at the top. If you are looking at toning your abs, it's quite important that you take the exercises nice and slow and you could do it up with repetitions just as long as you feel comfortable doing 20, 30, 40, possibly 50.

And it's quite important that you look at toning your abs possibly once a day at the end of your routines .
