Tired of flabby and weak arms? This short two-minute VideoJug film will show you some simple Pilates exercises and great tips on how to tone your arms!
I'm going to show you some great exercises for toning your arms. We're going to lie on our tummy and use one kilogram or half a kilogram weight. There are also some Theraband exercises that are great for arm toning as well, and we'll look at those later on in another video.
Breathe in, breathe out, tummy, pelvic floor, lengthening through your spine. That was the 'T-Pull'.
Now, we're going to take the arms back - This is 'The Dart'. Tummy, pelvic floor, lengthen, breathe out, down, breathe in. As the body lengthens, the arms float up off the floor. Good neck alignment throughout all these exercises. Just up a little.
Up and then stay and breathe, keep lengthening, pelvic floor, tummy.
Now think about your thumbs coming together, breathe out, tummy, pelvic floor, lengthen and then breathe in, breathe out, tummy, pelvic floor, lengthen, breathe in.
