How to treat damaged hair. Take a section of hair, lift out, and feel down the hair shaft where the damage occurs. It's very easy for you to tell what part of your hair needs to be helped, saved, and moisturized.

Choose your conditioning. I've chosen Drench Intensive Conditioner, but there are other ones such as the Matrix Biolage which are small files of intensely concentrated ingredients for repairing and moisturizing hair. Take the product; place it literally on the fingertip.

And then, from the palm of the hand, lift it through, and again, feeling for that length, you feel where the damage is and just work it through, even using your fingernail, just smoothing the cubicle. And then, when you can feel that the hair is completely infused with the treatment, move on to your next section. Again, pulling through, you don't have to be tidy with your sectioning.

Just as the hair falls, working it through, twisting it, and using your nail, just to push the treatment in. Any areas where you feel- and you're going to feel it towards the mid-lengths and the ends of the hair, just work on it until you can really feel that the hair has changed and you can feel silkiness right the way through the lengths of the hair. Repeat this all the way through, depending on thickness of hair, and don't worry about overloading the hair.

Modern conditioners will all- any excess will just wash away. It won't make your hair greasy. Work through, pulling it through, and again, twisting, wrapping, pulling, be quite firm with the way that you do it.

And then follow the instructions for how long you should leave. And that's how to treat damaged, brittle hair. .
