Hi my name is Sarah Alam and I am a professional make up artist. I have worked in TV, theatre and commercials for the past 13 years. Today I am going to show you some tips and tricks on how to produce professional looking make up.
I am going to show you how to trim fake eye lashes, especially if you're doing a 1950's look; they didn't have false eye lashes so obviously you're just going to make the edges of the eye lashes just a little more extended and that goes for modern day make up as well. If you're going for a natural look, you can just cut the end of your eye lashes. When you look at your eye lash you have a shorter eye lash leading into a longer eye lash, so that indicates to you where that is going to go on the eye.
This will be in the corner of the eye and that's the outer part of the eye. I'm going to trim about a third of the edge of the eye lash; a centimetre of eye lash is there. I'm going to use duo eye lash glue.
All eye lashes do come with glue but usually it's not very good quality of the glue. I thoroughly recommend that you buy some duo. I'm going to get my cut eye lashes, get some glue at the end of my tool and glue the edge of the eye lash.
I am going to lay in position as close to the middle of the eye lash line natural eye lash line as possible. So that's how to trim fake eye lashes. .
