How To Trim Your Beard With A Razor

Step 1: Hot water

Have a bath or shower before you start shaving. Otherwise you can use a hot flannel

Step 2: Apply cream

Apply shaving cream with a wet shaving brush. Don't use too much shaving cream. Work into a lather and then onto the skin.

Step 3: Lower jaw

Mark the edges of your beard with your finger so you know where to shave. Use the razor with small smooth movements. Don't use a blunt razor.

Step 4: Upper jaw

After applying cream run your finger down to mark where you want to shave. Stretch your skin and make small smooth strokes.

Step 5: Upper lip

Start from a finger's width above. Stretch the skin and take away excess hair with the razor
