Step 1: Hold Please
Your iPod should spring to life as soon as you touch it anywhere on the click wheel. If it doesn't, you may have the hold button on.
Look at the top of your iPod and check the position of the hold button. If you can see orange, the hold feature is on. Turn it off, and turn your iPod on.
Step 2: Battery Check
If you have made sure the hold feature is turned off and your iPod still won't turn on, your battery might be running low.
Connect your iPod to your computer using your USB connector cable or dock to charge your battery. That should do the trick, and soon, you'll be good to go.
