How To Turn Off Your Water Supply
To turn off your water supply you need to locate the stop tap. It is usually under the kitchen sink. Follow the cold water pipe along and you will find it. Turn it off like a normal tap.

Locating the stop tap

What we need to do is find the stop tap. They're usually
in the kitchen under the sink. But they can be anywhere
on the ground floor of your property. But don't worry if you can't find it. One way of finding the stop tap is by locating the cold water feed under the sink. Once you've found the pipe, follow it along and hopefully you'll find the stop tap.

Step 2:

Turn off

Once you've found the stop valve, turn it to the left like any
normal tap and that will isolate your water supply.
Your water supply is now off.
