Today, I'm going to be teaching you how to turn on a snowboard. First of all, snowboarding turn's all about using your edge and your body. Using your heel-edge turn, you want to get low and make sure you carry out on your heels keeping your shoulders parallel and looking at the point you want to turn.

The exact same goes for your toe-edge. As you ride in, you're going to be riding parallel to the hill, even up it in some cases so you can get a full turn across the slopes. Make sure you stay low and not too high, as when you get low, you're going to have a lot of balance in being able to negotiate those turns the best.

Once you're done with that, you can work in power and just carry on riding much steeper hills and terrains. The progression to getting to heel-slide and toe-slide turns is side-slipping down the slope, heel-edge and again toe-edge. Once you feel comfortable with those, you can start to feel comfortable linking turns and using your slope to the best of your ability.

Make sure you keep your legs and knees far apart but parallel to your legs. Stay stacked over and keep your shoulders parallel. If you do that, you'll be golden.

And that's how to turn on a snowboard. .
