Nightmares and bad dreams, we all go through them in stages. Nightmares tend to be more common with children but essentially are the same as bad dreams. Nightmares in children are funny enough but are actually important.
It's part of the growth, it's part of the development, it's part of our learning, as how we would cope with things. There is a link with thought. As we grow, particularly through growth spurts, suddenly the sort of chemicals raises through our body.
In sequel to our brain to get in to sort of a dream scenario where those chemicals will be huge, in sort of the flight or fight of the adrenalin rush and that's going to be something that needs to be looked up. But nightmares and bad dreams tend to get at sort of issues, resolutions that need to be resolved. But in case they keep recurring, it sort of underlies certain fear about a particular type of situation.
I would like to think bad dreams are not really bad dreams. They are just sort of dreams that we haven't resolved, dreams that we actually need to look into. It often indicates that the opposite is going to happen.
Things are going to get better. Things have sort of become great for you. Dreams can often have the opposite effect.
But the key to looking a bad dream or nightmare is to look at sort of the environment. Look at what's happening and see whether there is a sort of an issue that can be resolved, sort of people who are lost, frightened. Children often go through nightmares.
For instance, when they are feeling very emotionally upset, particularly if the parents are going through a divorce or something like that, their children would tend to have more nightmares and fear that they have been lost in the woods and things like that. Dreams like these can easily be resolved. .
