How To Understand Sexual Dreams

Sexual dreams are very common both for men and women. Men tend to have more sexual dreams than woman by a ratio of about 3:1. But women still have strong sexual dreams, but they'll tend to sort of have more of a scenario, more of a romantic scenario, where men will tend to sort of have a dream that sort of starts at the bedroom door.

Women will tend to sort of start with the romantic night out first. But it's, you know, dreams of this nature are really often just sort of fantasy dreams. They can often occur more often when we're in sort of a situation where we're frustrated in a current relationship or situation.

But it is a normal part, particularly as we sort of grow up through adolescence, and so it's nothing to be worried about or feared about. The dreams of a sexual nature can also sort of, you know, we can try to live out fantasies. Things that we might like to do that perhaps we would not want anyone else to know.

So, there's sort of dreams of, you know, often we'll dream about sort of other people, other people in our fantasies. Perhaps, we wouldn't actually like the wife or partner to know about. Sex with someone that isn't your partner is very common.

It's nothing to sort of be ashamed of. It's a fantasy. It's an unfulfilled dream.

Just as, you know, you might dream of having sex with a film star. Often, it's just sort of a time you're going through frustration in your own relationship and wouldn't, you know, worry too much about it. We all like to, as part of our dreams, put ourselves in situations that are different.

A common dream is to actually have sex with your boss in a dream and not something that perhaps, you would want in real life, but it actually indicates that it's not something that, it's not a fantasy that you're wanting to live out, but it actually shows that you admire your boss. Or, you admire other qualities about him that perhaps you wish you could strive up to. So, it's sort of an indication of wanting to take on some of the qualities.

Sex with a stranger is another common dream. And actually, probably represents a secret fantasy or sometimes, it could be a clue as to sexual acts that we wish to carry out, but we haven't got the courage to tell our partner. So, sometimes talking about your sexual dreams with your partner may explore other avenues.
