How To Understand Vedic Astrology
The difference between Vedic Astrology and Western Astrology how they calculate the zodiac positions. Vedic Astrology is looks at fate and key characteristics. Western Astrology deals with the psychology of the person.
Vedic Astrology is also known as Indian Astrology and is very similar to Astrology, Western Astrology. The main difference is that they calculate the positions in the zodiac differently. In Western Astrology, we take the ecliptic and we divide the sky basically at the 21st of March each year into the zodiac signs whereas Vedic Astrology takes into account the procession of the equinox which is the gradual slippage of the planets access against the constellations so Vedic Astrology is actually probably more based on a true astronomical picture than Western Astrology.
The thing about it is they both work but they work in different ways. Vedic Astrologies also concentrate on the major planets. They don't tend to take into account Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto and it's a very traditional form of Astrology and tends to have a lot more to do with fate and key characteristics.
The main difference in Western Astrology and Vedic Astrology is Western Astrology is often more about the psychology of the person and Vedic Astrology tends to look at, sort of, more of a fixed destiny of the person. So, if you've had your chart drawn up in Vedic Astrology or Indian Astrology, it will be slightly different in the look and the way the zodiac positions are than Western Astrology so it's important that you check which chart you're using when looking at transits. .
