How To Update Your iPod Software If You Have A PC

Step 1: Get Connected

Plug one end of your USB connector cable or dock into the bottom of your iPod and the other end into the USB port of your computer.

When iTunes launches, select your iPod from the source list on the left side of the iTunes window.

Step 2: Update

Your iPod Preferences will appear in the main window, and you'll be able to see if your iPod software is up-to-date.

If you don't have the latest updates, click the Update button in the middle of your screen and your iPod will be updated with the latest and greatest version of the software!
