How To Upload A Film To VideoJug
If you want to upload your own film onto the VideoJug website, here is a great step by step guide showing you how to do so. Learn how to properly compress your video, before you take your final steps to uploading it to our VideoJug website.
-
You need to compress your finished film before you can upload it onto the VideoJug website. This can be done using your edit software, and is generally referred to as exporting. The 'Export' option is usually found in the file menu and involves checking and adjusting the following settings.
-
Step 1:
-
Frame size
-
Make sure that the frame size is set to at least 400 x 300 pixels
-
Step 2:
-
Frame rate
-
Set the frame rate to at least 24 frames per second.
-
Step 3:
-
Video bit rate
-
The video bit rate needs to be set between 500 and 1000 kilo bits per second (kbps).
-
Step 4:
-
File size
-
The film's file size cannot be any bigger than 100MB. Your edit package will help you to compress it to less than this size using the settings just described. If this doesn't work, then possibly your film is too long. You must also choose a high compression codec. On a PC, choose Windows Media 9 or 10. If you are editing on a Mac, choose Quicktime Movie or MPEG4
