So now, I'm going to show you how to use the detailed sander. It's called the detailed sander because it's small. The sanding area is small.

This one's triangular so it's very good for getting into corners or tricky little inaccessible spaces. So, this is a velcro which is pretty handy because you just fit it on and it stays in place. You've got different sizes, different grits of sandpaper you can use.

Here, you've got, let's see, this is 60, 80, 120 and 180. Sixty is the grittiest one so you'd use that first and 180 is the finest so you'd use that one last. So, this one you can plug it onto a vac, so it extracts all the dust which is nice, you've got some hose down there which sucks up all the dust.

It also helps with, apart from the fact that you don't get lots of dust around, it clears the dust from the sandpaper so it helps with keeping the sandpaper clog-free so it sort of got a practical purpose. So if we imagine we've got a corner here and we want to sand the corner, you just go in there and sand either with the tip or put it flat completely if it's a bigger area and you can sand up and down with the edge. So, let me show you how that works.

So as you can see over here, I've sanded just in this little spot here along that edge and this edge so you can see that you can really pick out particular parts you want to sand, if you're doing something that's not just a flat surface, you might want to go and sand inside, kind of crevice or something, and get all of it sanded properly. You've also got three attachments that come with this, so this is if you want to sand inside of something and you need something thin to get in there, this is the same one but it's curved so if you want to sand maybe some architraving or something that's curved, you'd use this one and you can either get pieces that cut exactly like this or you can use this one. So that's how to use the finishing sander.
