So, here we go. We're going to make a drip coffee. We've got this on top of a glass.

We're going to take our filter paper and we just open our filter paper out so we've got a nice brown hole and we sit this gently in the top. You don't need to be heavy-handed with it at all. It's a very simple process.

We're going to take ground coffee. So, we're going to take a scoop and about a half of coffee and we now need some hot water. For this, I've got a jug.

You can use a kettle and you need to have the water at about 88 to 90 degrees so that's about just off the boil. So we're now gently going to pour this water onto the top of our coffee grind and you've got to make sure that they're nicely wet and that all of your coffee grinds are covered. Make sure that you're not going outside the filter paper and you'll see it already start to drip through the bottom.

The more coffee you've got in there, the longer you're going to take, and you can just keep topping this up with a little bit more water. Make sure that you get all the coffee grinds off from the edge of your filter paper. You don't want to just be using the coffee grinds in the center.

Make sure you get them all off and they all become mixed in and you'll see it all starts to drip through the bottom, nicely out, and producing a fantastic coffee full of flavour. So, that is how to use a drip coffee machine. .
