How To Use A Hole Saw
This VideoJug film is designed to show the various uses of a hole saw cutter. This tool can be used to drill relatively large holes in wood and plaster.
Now, I'm going to show you how to use the hole saw cutter. I've got two types here to show you. You've got a standard wood saw one here.
You've got all different types, all different sizes from small to large, generally good for cutting big holes that are too big for using a normal drill bit. I'll show you this one first. This one might struggle a bit with lifting it because it's quite dense.
But then afterwards, I'll show you this one which cuts just like butter. Let's see how this one goes first. So, put it onto the faster speed and on the normal drilling position in the middle here, not the hammer drill and not the screw driving.
Now, this drill bit should actually be longer so I hope it works. I might have to do something else here if it doesn't. Now, a good idea at this point actually is to go around the other way and cut through the other side.
It hasn't come through yet, so I'll just carry on through it from the top. And there we are. It went all the way through after awhile so that's an 18-piece.
That was quite some work for it to do that. It would be a lot better if it was pine because pine is a lot softer. I'll show you the other drill bit now and you'll see.
It's a completely different thing. It's gone through. So, the hole saw cutter is handy for cutting big holes, generally in sheets of wood or in plaster board.
This one would be good for plaster board and this one that cuts really well is just good for MDF which is much denser and harder to cut through. And that's how to use the hole cutting saw. This VideoJug film is designed to show the various uses of a hole saw cutter.
