This VideoJug clip will show you how to use a juicer to make your own delicious, nutritious fruit and vegetable juices.
Today, I'm going to show you how to use a juice machine. These are great for juicing hard fruits and vegetables like carrots, ginger, and apples. Okay.
This one here is an industrial juicer. You can actually buy smaller versions from electronics or high street stores, okay. Today, I'm going to teach you how to make carrot juice.
Okay, all you need for this really is a juicer, work preparation area, your vegetables, chopping board, a knife, a jug, some paper towels, because it can get quite messy when you first do it. Now, this has already been set up but make sure you just sort of set it up to your specifications. Make sure you've got the back on, that there's a back in there, whatever you need.
Now, these carrots have already been washed in vegetable wash. You could just use water. That's fine as long as you get all the dirt off.
The only thing I'm going to do with these is I'm going to take the top off, and depending on the type of juicer you have, you may need to cut them a bit smaller. This, obviously being an industrial one, can do the whole carrot. Now, we are going to make sure to put the jug in first.
Make sure you do that because as soon as you put the carrot in, it will juice and juice will come out immediately. So, turn the juicer on. When you put the carrots in the top, you have your plunger.
All you need to do is you can put it in. When you turn the machine on, you'll feel a little bit of resistance. Just keep pushing down until the juice starts coming out.
If it doesn't work, turn off the machine, wait until it stops, take out the carrot or the fruit and start again. We turn the machine on now. That will keep pouring out as it were so what you can do is you can just take your jug away and transfer it to a cup or some other container while that drips through.
There you go. And your juice, you can bottle that. It will keep for about two or three days in the fridge.
All you need then do is, as I said, wait for it to stop dripping. Take it apart. Give it a wash.
They're pretty easy to clean. And that's how you use a juicer. .
