How To Use A Pilates Roller

I'm going to show you a few exercises you can do with a Pilates roller.
Keep your neck in line with your spine. Lengthen your arms and your legs like a starfish. Breathe in tummy, pelvic floor, breathing out and keeping your head in line with your spine. Keeping your tummy scooped up but slightly in contact with the mat. This is a really nice massage for the outside of my thigh, especially after all those thigh toning exercises, very difficult to stop yourself from aching the next day, but this will help to massage them out.
You can have the underneath leg off the floor or you can let it slide across the floor. Balancing on the foam roller is quite fun. Allow it to roll backwards and forwards.
Using your abs, using your pelvic floor, you're lengthening, use everything you know about Pilates. If at first you don't succeed, have another go. And that's how to use the Pilates roller.
