Sometimes, you just don't have enough time to let your wine breathe, to expose it to air to enhance its taste. For those times, try a wine aerator. It promises to take the place of decanting altogether.

Step 1: Put The Aerator In The Bottle

Place your wine aerator into the neck of an opened bottle of wine. Make sure it's in tight; you want to create a seal between the aerator and the opening of the bottle.

Step 2: Aerate Your Wine

Pour your wine through the aerator into your glass. As you do so, you'll hear the wine gurgling. That's how you know it's working. It's as if you've decanted your wine four times!
