A sight adds another layer of consistency to your shooting and lets you adjust your aim. In this Videojug guide Michael Peart, professional recurve archer and Olympic reserve, show you how to use one.

Top Tips

  • The sight has vertical and horizontal movement to allow you to compensate for shooting too high or low, or too far to either side. For example: if you are shooting consistently low, you can lower the sight, which means you will be aiming slightly higher.
  • To use the sight: look down the side of the string through the middle of the ring, and line it up with the target.
