Today, I'm going to teach you how to use an Orange Juice machine. Orange Juice is probably one of the most popular and widely known juices out there. You can buy it in any supermarket, any high street grocery store, granted it's actually nice to make your own.

It's very simple to make. All you need is good quality oranges, these are Valencia Oranges. You could use any type of orange you like, really.

The machine we have here is an Electric Machine. Retail, this is probably about 300 pounds, it's a higher end of the market. You could buy hand juicers quite easily and also Lemon style.

I just show you the parts of this. Basically, all it is, is you have this mechanism in here which rather than you're actually putting the orange onto it, this will spin around at a much faster rate enabling you to juice a lot more oranges a lot quicker than that. With this machine, just make sure you've got it on a solid surface because you are going to be putting a bit of pressure on there.

There's a spout at the bottom to collect the juice, just put a cup there, any container, or bottle to collect that. So, we have six oranges here. It does depend on the type of orange you have to how juicy the oranges are, depends on how much juice you get out of them.

Normally, 4 or 5 oranges is a good sized cup. Basically, all you need to do is you cut them, straight down the middle. No other preparation really, you can give them a wash if they're really dirty.

Most oranges now come packed and are pretty clean. Seems all ready to go. I'm just going to put this in there, clip that on.

What will happen is, I'll put the orange in and as you pull the lever down, it will push onto this part here. It will then activate the mechanism and spin it and the juice should come out. We'll give that a go now.

Turn the machine on. Put that there. That'll sit on there quite nicely.

And as you push down, put quite a bit of pressure on there till you feel you've got all the juice out of there. If you turn that off, basically you'll see then that there's no more juice in that. Just repeat the process for the remaining oranges.

You can't leave the machine on, it stops automatically. Just prepare the remaining oranges. If you want, you could put these in the fridge for an hour or two before just to chill them out.

It's not going to affect anything other than it's going to be a little bit cold, you won't have to add any ice or anything like that. Few more, alright, there you go. That should take only three oranges there.

The best thing about making your own orange juice is, again, you know where it's come from and there's been no additives added to it. It hasn't been pasteurized, it hasn't been concentrated, and it's perfectly healthy. And it's a great way to start the day.

And that's how you use an orange juice machine. .
