When you want some clothing or fabric materials to be lifted up from its boring look, there are fabric paint pens that can help you.
My name's Alison Beck and I'd like to show you a few of the techniques of fabric painting. Now, I'm just going to show you how to use the glitter liner pens. We're just going to make this bag look a bit more attractive.
So, I'm going to use a gold one. They're really easy to use, children can use them, they're nontoxic. So, I'm just following the line here and just squeezing quite hard.
There's quite a lot of different liners that you can use. There's some that you use heat with them and they are called Magic and they actually provide a traced contour. You have to wait about 2 to 3 hours for it to dry and then you fix it with an iron.
You just put a cloth on it and iron it for about three minutes on the carbon setting. What you can do with the pens as well is if you use stencils, you can go around the edge and just make the design a bit more bold. We can decorate t-shirts, bags, pillowcases, and when it's dry, it ends up looking like this.
And that's how you use fabric pens. .
