My name's Alison Beck and I'd like to show you a few of the techniques of fabric painting. We're going to create a cushion cover and we're going to use the Marabu glitter pens. I've used two colours here, pink and blue, and you also need a paint roller such as this, some masking tape and some Marabu stencils.

So, it's really easy. You just put masking tape to keep your stencil nice and firm and then you just roll it on and press down really firmly. So with the top butterfly, I'm going to actually mix a bit of blue with the pink so it's going to be a bit multicoloured and again you press down really hard making sure that you get everywhere covered.

As you can see, it's really a quick thing to do and you can decorate bags, cushion covers, clothing, nice. So, we've done that one and I'm just going to move the stencil over. That so, we've moved it over.

Let's get a bit more paint on the roller. The glitter liners are available in 20 different colours and they're really pretty and really good for clothing. Just one left to do, and that's it finished.

Now, once you've actually done that, you've got to let it dry for a couple of hours and you can speed that up by using a hairdryer if you like and then you have to iron it by putting a cloth on the top of it and ironing it on the cotton heat setting for three minutes. .
