How To Use Fimo Beads

Whether you have made you own or bought them in a shop, once you have your fimo beads you have to make them into something! In this step by step guide Jessica Rose, jewellery maker, shows you how to make a fimo bead bracelet.

You Will Need

  • chain nose pliers
  • side cutters
  • stringing material, eg. Tigertail wire
  • 1 closed jump ring
  • 1 silver clasp
  • 2 crimps
  • fimo beads

Method

Cut a length of the wire, then thread on your beads. Check it's the right size against your wrist, remembering to account for the clasp.

Thread on a crimp, then a jump ring, then thread the end of the wire back through the crimp to trap the jump ring in place.

Squeeze the crimp with the chain nose pliers, then cut off the excess wire with the side cutters.

Push the beads round and repeat the same process on the other side, this time using a clasp instead of a jump ring.
